The 16-year-old amateur Daniel Hyde enjoyed a day he'll never forget at Fairyhouse as he rode his grandfather Timmy's Keskonrisk to victory in the concluding bumper.

The impressive French-bred newcomer, sent off at 6-1, was ridden with confidence by the fifth-year secondary school student and wasn't for catching once travelling to the lead halfway from home.

The winning trainer said: "I think he's a good horse. He's got a lot of speed and is well bred. Daniel was cool on him."
