Sedgefield-based trainer Ray Craggs celebrated a first 100-1 winner from the comfort of home as he watched his homebred Amouri Gleam spring a surprise in the 6f novice median auction.

It may have come as a surprise to many punters, but Craggs was hopeful of a good run from the debutant three-year-old filly, who had shown up well at home and whose dam Tour D'Amour was a two-time winner on the Fibresand.

Jimmy Sullivan's mount, owned by the trainer, stayed on strongly to defeat long-time leader and odds-on favourite Point Zero by a length and a quarter.
