Fine Weather set for Cheltenham next spring as patience pays off

All thoughts turn to Cheltenham this weekend, even for those racing 260 miles away, and Weather Front is set to be aimed at the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle next March after adding a second hurdles victory to his four Flat wins in 2018.

"He's been tremendous this year," said trainer Karen McLintock. "Everything has fallen into place. It's taken a long time to get him there and patience has paid off.

"He's going to have a break as he's been on the go a long time, then he'll probably have a day out in the Supreme at Cheltenham."
