Pravalaguna survives bad mistake to earn 25-1 Arkle quote

The lure of Cheltenham was very much in evidence with four of the eight winners on the card having the festival on their future agendas.

Among them was Pravalaguna, who did well to survive a bad mistake five out to land the Listed Opera Hat Mares Chase in fine style by 14 lengths under Paul Townend.

She is entered in the Racing Post Arkle and the JLT Novices’ Chase and her trainer Willie Mullins said: “I’d imagine her owners would love to have a runner at Cheltenham. The way she won would suggest going up in trip wouldn’t be a problem.
