Fehily dominates the day with fabulous four-timer

There may have been an anti-climax but a big crowd will remember the meeting for thinking that Noel Fehily might emulate Frankie Dettori and win every race on a high-profile card.

After the first four winners the applause grew for the rider as he came out to receive his latest presentation and but for his fifth ride Rushcliff being knocked off balance two out in the handicap hurdle, the story would have got to the disappointing Opening Batsman, who shouldered arms in the last.

Fehily was worked almost as hard jogging back the 100 yards from the weighing room to the presentation rostrumas he needed to on his four winning favourites.
