Not much beats a homebred winner and Marietta Fox-Pitt was all smiles after Snow Leopardess captured the £40,000 Grade 2 mares' novice hurdle.

Ridden by Aidan Coleman and trained by Charlie Longsdon, the grey will now be aimed at the Grade 1 Mares Novice Hurdle Championship Final at Fairyhouse next month.

"It's great, very exciting," said Fox-Pitt, the mother-in-law of Alice Plunkett, who was on duty for ITV.
