In the Electric Light Orchestra song, Mister Blue Sky had to hide away for so long. Well, the horse of the same name has not been too visible either for one reason or another this season.

Making up for lost time is a strong objective and he made good headway in achieving that with a hard-fought success in the 2m Grade 2 novice hurdle.

Under Ruby Walsh, Mister Blue Sky had to battle back after mistakes at the last two hurdles, but in the end looked to have a little to spare in accounting for stablemate Cash Back by three-parts of a length.
