Easy Group 3 victor Somehow may tackle Matron Stakes

Somehow set up a Group 3 double for Aidan O'Brien and Seamie Heffernan when trouncing her rivals by seven lengths in the 1m1f Snow Fairy Fillies Stakes.

The winner, who landed the Cheshire Oaks early in the season, was dropping in trip having finished behind stablemates Minding (Investec Oaks), Seventh Heaven (Darley Irish Oaks) and Best In The World (Give Thanks Stakes) over 1m4f on her previous three starts.

After the daughter of Fastnet Rock and Alexandrova had settled the outcome in a hurry entering the final furlong, O'Brien said: "She really has improved. It's amazing when a filly starts to come good and puts on a performance like that.
