Dunne deal as Irish domination stretches to North Norfolk

Cheltenham wasn't the only place that the Irish were plundering prizes as Highland Fling made off with the £14,000 Silver Cup Handicap Hurdle, one of the features of the season at the Norfolk track.

Trainer Gavin Crawford bagged the second leg of an ambitious double with the Robbie Dunne-ridden winner, who had scored at Sedgefield only three days previously.

Dunne said: "Gavin is my neighbour back home in Ireland but I've never had a ride for him until now. This horse was pretty fresh even though he'd run only on Tuesday and there could be more to come, especially on this type of ground."
