Dreamfield earns Guineas quote following taking win

A hefty price tag has proved a curse for many expensive purchases but Dreamfield made the first step to justifying his cost by romping to victory by eight lengths on debut in the opening 6f maiden.

BetVictor and Paddy Power were notably impressed, offering 20-1 about the 1,100,000gns purchase landing the Qipco 2,000 Guineas next year for Godolphin and John Gosden, although rider James Doyle felt Dreamfield's immediate future most probably lies over sprint distances.

The son of Oasis Dream and Izzi Top showed blistering early dash to dominate the juvenile contest from start to finish with Doyle experiencing the high cruising speed first-hand.
