Hollie Doyle is letting her riding do the talking while the introduction of a 2kg allowance for female riders in France is dividing opinion, and her short-head 7f handicap win on Tigerfish was her eighth of the season.

Doyle currently claims a 5lb apprentice allowance of course, but under the French system she would be claiming more than 9lb in all but the best races. Unlike some however, she is sufficiently petite to at least be able to manage the reduced weights were such an allowance introduced.

On 47 career winners and due to have her claim reduced to 3lb after just three more victories, Doyle had been seen to good advantage on Tisbutadream at Kempton on Wednesday night and used her racing brain again here.
