James Doyle had bigger targets on his mind than the Happy Birthday Mary Brennan Maiden, but he was more than happy nevertheless after Silent Echo made all and beat market rival Time's Arrow by a length and a quarter.

Doyle has high hopes of a first British Classic win on Godolphin's Barney Roy in the Qipco 2,000 Guineas and admitted he was "really excited" at the prospect.

He added: "It's a long time since one gave me the feel that Barney Roy gave me in the Greenham."
