Do not devalue Delta display and get on now at 12-1 for RSA Chase
It was slightly surprising to see Apple's Jade still available at 2-1 for the OLBG Mares' Hurdle following her 20-length demolition job in the Hatton's Grace but ante-post punting is not about backing 2-1 shots three and a half months away from a race so Delta Work appeals far more at 12-1 for the RSA Chase.
Delta Work is deceptive. He only had half a length to spare over Le Richebourg in the Drinmore but to recover from such an untidy leap at the last suggests there was plenty in the tank. He's a top-notch novice, make no mistake about it.
To be able to beat Le Richebourg on good ground over 2m4f is a fair achievement given that he ought to come into his own when he steps up to three miles on softer ground.
