Frankie Dettori is setting a Group 1-winning pace that is unprecedented in European Flat racing history – and, as he pointed out after taking his 2019 top-flight tally to 11, many of the wins have come not simply in Group 1s but in proper Group 1s.

From claiming the Oaks on Anapurna on May 31 to landing the Qatar Sussex Stakes aboard Too Darn Hot on July 31, Dettori has mopped up 11 Group 1 victories in the space of only 62 days.

Moreover, the last ten of those wins came in only 43 days, while the last three have been gained in just five sensational summer days.
