Derby would be difficult to resist says Marquand after making all on Khalifa Sat

Tom Marquand believes it could be hard to resist running Cocked Hat Stakes winner Khalifa Sat in the Investec Derby.
Owner Ahmad Al Shaikh and trainer Andrew Balding, who already has the favourite in Guineas winner Kameko, will make the call, but Marquand will not be putting them off after guiding Khalifa Sat to a success he rated.
A race last won by a subsequent Derby winner in 1979 promised to reveal a serious contender for Epsom in Emissary, a half-brother to Workforce who arrived at Goodwood unbeaten.
