De Giles ticks off another track as Wakame strikes
Jim Crowley: thanked his agent for the hard work
Ed de Giles scored his first win at the Essex track in 20 attempts as Wakame overcame a wide draw to send Jim Crowley one step closer to the champion jockeys’ title in the mile handicap.
Although not admitting it was won, Crowley said to At The Races: “Silvestre deserves it if he can win from here.
“I’m not feeling the effects of it so far, it’s easier when you’re getting winners. My agent has done a fantastic job this year, I think he’s more tired than I am!”
