Dashing Willoughby stars for Classic winners Murphy and Balding

Saturday's Classic-winning team of Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy joined forces with devastating effect again as Dashing Willoughby made every yard in the Listed 1m4f Buckhounds Stakes and Bell Rock got up in the final strides to land the mile handicap.

The Buckhounds Stakes is normally staged at Ascot, which is where Dashing Willoughby's last victory was achieved in the Queen's Vase at last year's royal meeting.

Whether Royal Ascot is on the agenda later this month remains to be seen, as Balding said: "I thought the ground might be a bit quick for him but Oisin has done a lovely job.
