Danzeno dances back to form in new shoes to land heritage handicap

Albert and William Wragg live a Ben Stokes hit away from Trent Bridge, where the England vs South Africa Test match is being fought out, but they were bowled over 150 miles further south when their homebred Danzeno steamed in to win the big sprint handicap.

A bit like some of the best fast bowlers, Danzeno has been struggling with his feet for a while, and the Wraggs paid tribute to trainer Mick Appleby and his team for sorting out this handicap.

"He had super shoes on today," said Albert Wragg. "He has different sized feet so needs different shoes and that had been troubling him, but that has been sorted out now.
