Curtis determined to bounce back as Joe Farrell provides boost in tough season

Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer Rebecca Curtis has endured a testing season and spoke candidly about her struggles after Joe Farrell provided her with a welcome winner in the novice handicap chase.

Numbers at Curtis's yard in west Wales have dipped, but the trainer, who saddled At Fishers Cross to win the Albert Bartlett in 2013, hopes the fightback has begun.

"It's not been an easy season," said Curtis, who was celebrating only her sixth winner of the campaign, compared to a high of 49 in 2012-13.
