The sixth most valuable Hunter Chase of the year was a memorable occasion for more than just the prize-money for Charlotte "Lottie" Crane, who landed her first win under rules on Seefood.

The 22-year-old rider left champion amateur Will Biddick, among others, in her wake when bagging the £16,000 contest on the well-backed Yorkshire raider.

Crane, who has ridden 17 point-to-point winners, was getting off the mark for the season in style in the colours of her father Ivan.
