Nothing succeeds like success. Jedd O'Keeffe has had his best ever Flat season and the jumps campaign looks set to be just as good to him.

Having set a new personal best tally of winners on the Flat and made a breakthrough at Listed level, he went close with Sam Spinner in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow last weekend and made it two winners from just five runners over hurdles this season with American Craftsman.

He only has "five or six" jumpers and admitted to a "pleasant surprise" at the first-time-out hurdling success of a 16-1 shot who is in his second stint at his North Yorkshire yard.
