Courageous Sea Of Grace ends Oxx's Group-race drought

Sea Of Grace gave John Oxx his first Pattern race success for almost three years when getting the better of Eziyra by a neck in the Group 3 Flame Of Tara EBF Stakes, and the daughter of Born To Sea could return to the Curragh for the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes next month.

It was Oxx's first Pattern win since My Titania landed the Group 3 C L Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh in September 2013, and he was clearly delighted with Sea Of Grace's success.

Oxx said: "Sea Of Grace has a very good turn of foot. She relaxed and when she came with her challenge she probably arrived a bit soon. She paused before showing a lot of heart towards the finish."
