Dore and Turner were a team to fear ten years ago, especially on the all-weather, and the one-eyed gelding, a former Group performer with Aidan O'Brien, was a 70th winner ridden by Saturday's Shergar Cup star Turner for the Lincolnshire trainer.
Dore, sending out his first winner on the Flat this year following success with Hurricane Rita over jumps after three years in the doldrums, told Racing TV: "I think he enjoyed dropping in class. Don't forget he was running in a Listed race and still running in 100 handicaps last year. He was dropping into a 70 off 68 and he's not getting any younger."
