Willie Mullins has unleashed a plethora of exciting novice chasers in the past ten days and former Grade 1-winning bumper mare Colreevy joined the likes of Asterion Forlonge, Energumene, Janidil, Blackbow and Yukon Lil in making successful debuts over fences at Punchestown.

The Niall Flynn-owned seven-year-old showed a likeable appetite for chasing in scoring by a ready 15 lengths in the Ballymore Group Rated Novice Chase under Paul Townend, obliging as the 13-8 favourite in a race where four of the 11 runners failed to complete.

"That was excellent," said the winning rider. "The trip was ideal and she handled the ground well. She jumped great."
