Codd's Tell proves too good for Down Royal rivals

Tellthemnuttin ran out an impressive winner of the WorkPal Handicap Hurdle (7.15) at Down Royal this evening, producing a flawless performance to see off her six rivals by 10 lengths.

The extended three mile trip appears to be her optimum, with trainer Willie Codd suggesting that the summer festivals are all on the table; as long as the handicapper does not penalise her too heavily.

Garrett Power's Curragh Golan rolled back the years to land the O2 Handicap Chase (8.15); as the 12-year-old put in a determined bid to see off Coldstonesober in a driving finish.
