Cobden cool, calm and collected as White Moon shines again
Harry Cobden has been no stranger to the limelight in recent days, as it was announced he would be taking over from Paddy Brennan aboard ultra popular chaser Cue Card when he bids to make it a record-equalling fourth Betfair Chase victory at Haydock a week on Saturday.
Last year’s champion conditional has two huge stables supporting him in Paul Nicholls and Colin Tizzard and had plenty to smile about after partnering Tizzard’s White Moon to success in the 2m5½f novice hurdle to end the card.
The almost white five-year-old produced a similarly sparkling performance to the one he put in at Wincanton last month, jumping smoothly and accelerating away in style to win by six lengths.
