Callum Rodriguez is well aware that the hard work starts now after riding out his claim on Mustaqbal for boss Michael Dods.

Rodriguez, 21, became the Darlington trainer's apprentice at the start of last season and his career has been on an upward curve ever since.

A famous victory on the Iain Jardine-trained Nakeeta in last year's Ebor helped his rise to prominence and, following the all-important 95th success on the Denton Hall Racing-owned Mustaqbal, the jockey said: "It's a massive landmark and it's nice to do it for the boss. He's a massive supporter of mine and has given me a lot of opportunities from day one.
