Callender completes fantastic world-wide four-timer for owner

As days in racehorse ownership go, Zhang Yuesheng might find it hard to do much better than he did yesterday.

Callender carried Yuesheng’s colours to victory in the valuable Irish Stallion Farms EBF Premier Nursery, with the impressive juvenile making a winning start for trainer Mick Halford.

In doing so, he was providing the owner with a fourth winner of the day after he had notched a double at his own racecourse in China to add to an earlier winner in Australia.
