Buttons serves it up again and now heads to Haydock next month

They do come back and just like Sprinter Sacre rose again last season, Lady Buttons has this time around with the daughter of Beneficial landing the mares' handicap hurdle in fine style to make it three wins on the trot having missed the last seven months of 2015 and virtually the whole of 2016 through injury.

As a youngster she was shaping up to be pretty useful for she was beaten just a head in the mares' bumper final at Aintree in April 2014, but although she won once in her novice season she never scaled quite the same heights as a hurdler and then her career came to an abrupt halt when she finished lame at Market Rasen a year after that Aintree run.

Her career is very much back on track now, and despite a rise of 19lb in the ratings for her two previous wins, she scored again in fine style under Adam Nicol in the four-runner affair.
