Bryony Frost taken to hospital with suspected broken collarbone after fall

Saturday: Bangor
Bryony Frost was taken to Wrexham Hospital with a suspected broken collarbone, according to Sky Sports Racing, after Sir Psycho fell heavily at the second fence in the 2m4½f handicap chase.
Frost's mount veered right while jumping and fell before getting to his feet and galloping on, only to jerk right again just before the third, crashing through the running rail and falling.
Racing was delayed by approximately 20 minutes as repairs to the track were carried out. Sir Psycho was reportedly okay after the incident.
Bold debut
Only The Bold struck on his stable debut for David Pipe to take the 3m handicap chase under Fergus Gillard.
Having easily won an Irish point-to-point from subsequent Grade 2 winner Tommy's Oscar, the seven-year-old took to chasing in style, tracking the leaders before going clear to score by nine lengths.
"He’s not the biggest, but he’s schooled well at home and we thought Bangor would be a good place to start him off," Pipe said.
"James Couldwell bought him from Doncaster sales and we thought three miles on soft ground would be to his liking. Fergus Gillard gave him a nice ride and it was very pleasing all around.”
Saturday success
In the closing 2m½f bumper Sole Solution made it a happy end to the day for Venetia Williams, triumphing under Ned Fox moments after her star chaser L’Homme Presse had defied top weight to take the Rehearsal Handicap Chase at Newcastle.
