Bryony Frost gained her first winner since jump racing's return and then revealed she had been riding with a broken leg prior to the sport's enforced shutdown.

Frost picked up the injury in an unseat at Southwell at the start of March, but did not discover the full extent until a few weeks later.

Speaking after guiding home Balagan for a 40-1 upset in the 2m4f novice hurdle, she said: "I was riding for a while with a fracture to the small bone above the knee, but we often have these niggles.
