Broadway takes centre stage in Group 3 as O'Briens dominate

Aidan O'Brien was left with another opportunity to laud supersire Galileo after Broadway, not exactly a lightly raced filly, just edged out the opposition to land the Group 3 Denny Cordell Lavarack & Lanwades Studs Fillies Stakes under Seamie Heffernan.

"She's a Galileo filly, and whatever it is about them they're just a different breed, they just keep getting better and better the more racing they get," said the trainer.

It is a point well made too in the case of this filly. This was her 11th run of the season and her eighth since her sole previous success in a maiden at Naas in May. This was her best effort yet and she seems to be thriving on her workload.
