Simon Crisford and his son Ed enjoyed their first winner with a joint licence courtesy of Britannia Stakes hope Finest Sound in division one of the mile handicap.

The Sheikh Mohammed Obaid-owned three-year-old was the first of two winners for Andrea Atzeni, whose mount Bharani Star was involved in a dead-heat with Duke Of Condicote in the finale.

Simon Crisford said: "It's fantastic to have our first winner and it's a very good initiative by the BHA. I'm sure plenty of people will do it.
