Melesina continued Richard Fahey’s excellent run and crowned a fine first season for Nick Bradley Racing when running out a ready winner under Thierry Jarnet at odds of 26-1.

The daughter of Dark Angel broke her maiden at Beverley in July but had hardly advertised her potential for an assignment such as this when only sixth in an Ayr nursery on her first run back from a break last month.
