Bowen eyeing Close Brothers for festival stalwart Pearl Swan

Peter Bowen's Cheltenham Festival squad has another member following Pearl Swan's victory in the feature handicap chase.

The nine-year-old is no stranger to the four-day meeting. He might have been placed in the Triumph Hurdle in 2012 but for falling at the last, then ran with credit in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Hurdle two seasons ago.

And he booked his visit for a third trip to the festival - with the 2m4f novice handicap chase on the opening day the most likely destination - after bagging his third victory of a productive season in fine style.
