Boudot holds off Ballydoyle trio as Persian King reigns in Autumn Stakes

Pierre-Charles Boudot and Persian King held off the considerable might of a three-strong Ballydoyle contingent when prevailing in a stirring finish to the Group 3 Autumn Stakes.

Boudot had warmed up for his assignment by riding out for John Gosden on Saturday morning and was partnering just his second winner at the course when the son of Kingman swept out of the Dip to hold off the persistent Magna Grecia, whose trainer Aidan O'Brien also had the third and fourth.
