Boost for Tate and McDonald as Live Stream impresses on debut

James Tate and PJ McDonald lost a potential superstar this week when Palace House Stakes winner Far Above had to be retired prematurely due to an injury, but in winning debutante Live Stream the partnership could have another smart one at their disposal.

A first winner for new sire Awtaad, Live Stream provided a much- needed boost for the pair when impressing in the 6f fillies' novice.

McDonald said: "She's a smart filly. I rode her at home last week and she put in a nice piece of work. She had a good turn of foot and we were pretty confident bar it being her first time.
