Have you heard the one about the female trainer who turned down Brad Pitt? Lucinda Egerton is not afraid to make tough decisions in life and, having left behind a promising career in film, she is in the process of writing another blockbuster – with a little help from Bollin Line.

The Reassuringly Racy Club-owned ten-year-old has proved a revelation for the Malton trainer, who spent 12 years in the film industry before working her way up to running her own yard, with victory in the amateur riders' handicap hurdle his third in two weeks.

"I can't believe it – he's ten years old and is still improving," said the 35-year-old. "He's fragile and tricky to train as he has to have his own way. He's always had the talent and is really starting to show it."
