It was not quite warm enough to indulge in a spot of sunbathing at Gosforth Park but the unseasonable weather brought about a revival in the fortunes of Beyondtemptation.

The nine-year-old put behind her a string of below-par efforts as she made all in the 2m4½f handicap hurdle.

Trainer Jonathan Haynes is convinced the mild, sunny weather was a major factor in the mare’s return to form.
