Betfair Chase hero Lostintranslation proves fitting tribute to owner's late son

Owner Paul Taylor wanted to find a horse to honour his late son and he might just have stumbled upon one in a million.

The unbridled joy that followed Lostintranslation's coming-of-age victory in the Betfair Chase was tinged with raw emotion for Taylor, who has had to overcome personal tragedy.

"My son Charlie died in 2015 aged three and his favourite thing on Earth was the Minions so the horse runs in the Minions' colours," said Taylor, who owns the Colin Tizzard-trained seven-year-old with lifelong friend Richard O'Dwyer.
