The Kerrygold Irish Oaks could be next for Antonia De Vega, who won Newbury's Listed feature, run in memory of influential bloodstock agent Johnnie Lewis.

Trainer Ralph Beckett was understandably thrilled with the performance of Waverley Racing's promising filly, who last season landed Goodwood's Group 3 Prestige Stakes before finishing lame and last when upped to Group 1 company in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket.

Paddy Power offer 16-1 about the three-year-old making a successful top-flight return in the Curragh Classic, but the fact she has now even just earned consideration for that contest came as a surprise fillip to Beckett, who reported Harry Bentley's mount had been working only moderately at home.
