Bass and Bailey continue fine November as they score in Imperial colours again

David Bass and Kim Bailey have had great success in the Imperial Racing Partnership colours already this season and they were back in the winner's enclosure once again with Imperial Icon in the 2m3½f handicap hurdle.

The duo have had enjoyed a fine month and their fortunes show no sign of stopping after the five-year-old rallied for a last-gasp victory to give Bailey a 33rd victory of the season, already surpassing his tally last term.

Bass, who has ridden seven winners from his last ten rides, said: "I'm riding healthy, fit horses that are being placed very well and I'm lucky to be in the position I am. I enjoy race riding and when you're winning it's great.
