Owner Lady Juliet Tadgell made a rare appearance at the Yorkshire track and it paid off when her improving four-year-old Bahamian Bird flew home in the featured fillies' handicap.

The Richard Fahey-trained daughter of Bahamian Bounty is turning into something of a course specialist after registering her second successive win at the venue.

Given a nice lead by the free-going Coronation Day in the early exchanges, Bahamian Bird readily brushed the market leader aside at the furlong pole and was the highlight of a double for jockey PJ McDonald.
