Jamie Gormley is hoping Good Time Ahead is aptly named as he looks to the future after riding the latest winner of his breakthrough year.

The apprentice started 2017 with just one success to his name but was scoring his 25th career victory in the 1m4f handicap here, continuing a memorable campaign in which his claim was cut from 7lb to 5lb and he landed valuable triumphs on Sepal and Tor.

"It's been going well," said the jockey, who hopes to add further wins before the turf resumes next spring.
