Antony enjoys confidence-booster and is back on track with Uttoxeter in sights

Gary Moore endured forgettable festivals at Cheltenham and Aintree but things are looking up now that the ground is changing, and Antony was his second good winner in three days when landing the feature handicap chase from a depleted field.

Traffic Fluide scored in extraordinary style at Cheltenham on Wednesday after being laid in running at 1,000-1. Antony's 13-length win from just one other finisher was rather less spectacular, but it was no less welcome as the eight-year-old had lost his way somewhat since winning the valuable Sodexo Chase at Ascot last season.

Jockey Jamie Moore said: "I thought the world was his oyster after Ascot and he's completely let me down since, but we thought he was a soft-ground horse and I actually think the better ground has helped today.
