Danny Tudhope bagged a double in tricky conditions with Mot Juste, the first winner of the two, producing the standout performance of the day.

The Roger Varian-trained filly was sent off 11-4 joint-favourite and that price looked a steal as soon as she took the lead two furlongs out in the 7½f fillies' novice stakes.

On the third start of her career, Mot Juste stormed clear of the rest of the field to run out an emphatic seven-length winner. Although it is hard to know how much the form is worth, the manner in which she quickened suggested she is a filly with bigger things to look forward to.
