Replacement Sligo fixture lost

The Flat card scheduled for Sligo on Wednesday evening was cancelled on Tuesday morning after parts of the track were found to be unfit for racing following heavy rain in recent days. The meeting had been added to the calendar after a mixed card was lost there last month, when the ground was deemed to have been damaged excessively at a two-day fixture earlier in August.
