'Ready to go': Potters Corner in Cheltenham clash with Easysland and Tiger Roll
Potters Corner enlivened the last lockdown by winning the Virtual Grand National in April and he will attempt to hit the target for real this week when taking on two cross-country superstars behind closed doors.
An audience of 4.8 million people saw the progressive chaser get the better of hat-trick-seeking Tiger Roll and 38 others in a computer-generated version of the Aintree race that was shown on ITV and raised more than £2.6 million for NHS charities, which received all betting profits.
ITV4 viewers will see him for real on Friday when he sets off on the Grand National trail again in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase at Cheltenham.
