Racing Victoria chairman at centre of integrity probe

Racing Victoria was plunged into chaos on the eve of the Caulfield Cup as chairman David Moodie was forced to stand aside over an integrity concern.

In a statement issued on Friday night, it was revealed Moodie is under investigation by racing integrity commissioner Sal Perna.

The issue has been reported to the Racing Victoria Integrity Council, and Racing Victoria said it will make no further comment while the investigation is in progress.
