'Racecourses need to wake up': Michael Dods demands better service for owners

Michael Dods has urged racecourses to extend a better welcome to owners and called on the whole industry to realise the issue of poor service has reached a critical level.

Following a recent warning on the matter from the Racehorse Owners Association, the Darlington trainer has criticised some northern tracks for providing owners with "only the bare minimum".

Dods has noticed some courses have worked hard to look after owners during the difficult lockdown period, whereas others have been found wanting.
